Sonaghan Trout are somewhat rare and exist in only one lake in the world. They are identified as a separate species and are native to Lough Melvin on the northwest coast of Ireland. They are deep water fish and come up in schools from the depths to feed on midges and other small flies. They are a one of a kind trout that few have seen.
